An offset type fin is employed inside the tube and a louver type outer fin is used giving cooling performance that is equal to the higher grade Blitz CS intercooler. The pipe work supplied with the kit is mandrel bent to reduce intake resistance. This process also ensures that the diameter of the pipe work is not reduced where it curves. This results in maximum cooling capacity and efficiency whilst allowing for minimal pressure drop. The aluminium pipes and side tanks are highly polished. Blitz SE intercoolers use highly durable 3-ply silicone for pipe joints. Blitz SE intercoolers are supplied as a complete kit with all the necessary pipework and bracketry required for installation.
